Account Management

The process of maintaining and growing a customer account by developing and nurturing the customer relationship

What is the role of an Account Manager?

Account Managers, or Customer Success Managers are responsible for managing relationships with existing customers in order to retain their business and generate additional revenue. Account managers are responsible for maintaining regular contact with their customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services.

Account Managers are also responsible for addressing any issues or concerns that customers may have, and for ensuring that their customers are satisfied with the products or services they have purchased. In addition to these responsibilities, account managers may also be involved in negotiating contracts and pricing, and in working with other members of the sales team to develop strategies for acquiring new customers.
